This unit is compact and economical, featuring an electrically heated pit-style furnace that achieves temperatures to 1250°F. it’s built with a steam injection system that treats parts to ensure long service life, superior wear, and corrosion resistance. It’s also ideal for extending the life and sharpness of high-speed cutting tools. Used with powdered iron parts, the unit increases compressive strength and hardness. For gray iron castings, it enhances corrosion resistance and helps seal microscopic porosity. With structural steel, it will produce a uniform blue-back finish for an attractive surface appearance. With molded rubber parts and components, a secondary cure in steam atmosphere will improve service life. This furnace is designed with forced circulation, low atmospheric consumption, easy operation, and energy efficiency all in one reliable package. It offers a long service life that helps reduce operating costs. This microprocessor-controlled unit can be configured with additional options such as a data acquisition recording package.
