Cyclone® Electric Powered Pit Furnace with 96 x 72 Inch (in) Work Space

Celebrating 100 years as a leading supplier of heat treatment and non-ferrous melting solutions to customers worldwide, Lindberg/MPH is pleased to offer our Cyclone Pit furnace in electric or gas-fired configuration. Both models are capable of reaching maximum temperatures up to 1250°F, with an optional modification that yields 1400°F. Both Cyclone Pits provide high productivity, accurate temperature uniformity, and simple operation for tempering, stress relieving, aging, annealing, and heat treatment of metals such as aluminum. Ideal for work cell/JIT layouts, they feature metal lined chambers that are isolated from the heated chamber, high-velocity re-circulating fan, and ceramic insulation. Our gas model can be configured in direct or indirect firing in the heating chamber and then distributes it using circulating fans. Our electric model utilizes a 100% heat convective design, forcing the recirculation air through the load at high velocity; also minimizing cycling time. The furnace is easy to maintain thanks to a frame-mounted heating unit that will not disturb the load or require furnace cooling. Both models can be customized according to your specifications with retort, air inlet/exhaust, and an array of control or recorder options.
