At Lindberg/MPH, we’re a proven leader in thermal processing applications, featuring next generation heating treatment and melting solutions. Offering fast processing speeds, flexibility, and modularity, our Pacemaker Companion Draw furnace is available in either electric or gas-fired versions. Our draw furnaces feature in-out, straight-through, or two-chamber configurations. Both style of units include roof-mounted fans for high capacity airflow that monitor and perform emergency shut downs if the unit becomes inoperable. Designed for consistent temperature uniformity throughout the workload, stainless steel recirculation baffles guide the airflow and allow inlet and outlet fresh air. The furnace shell is structurally reinforced with 3/16” thick steel and low heat storage insulation, built around a stainless steel interior. A pneumatically operated door is equipped with a manual 3-way valve, air filter, regulator, and lubricator. In our electric model, stainless steel baffles help shield the Incoloy-sheathed heating elements; which are easily serviceable along its exterior. Built with excess temperature cutoff, a standard SCR controller uses time proportioning to regulate the element contactor. In our gas-fired models, a stainless steel baffle shields the burner flame and prevents radiating on the workload. All excess air fires through an open tube that runs through the back of the furnace. Used in applications such as aging, annealing, baking, curing, tempering, and preheating, the Pacemaker draw furnace is available with either 800°F or 1400°F operating temperatures. Recording instrumentation, full-width alloy roller hearths, high capacity recirculation fans, and an external front-mounted water quench tank are available as options. AMS 2750E compliance is also available. For more information on our Pacemaker Companion Draw furnace, please contact us directly.
