Model LPC 11550-1200

The LPC 11550-1200 is a two terminal, bipolar lightning and surge protective device (SPD) for protection of electrical and electronic equipment against lightning and surge conditions appearing on DC power line systems. Nominal operating voltage 1000 VDC; maximum continuous operating voltage 1200 VDC.Response is less than one nanosecond in either polarity. Automatic restoration occurs at the instant the voltage returns to the normal operating voltage. Power follow current does not occur. This SPD consists of high energy metal oxide varistor disc arrays, epoxy-encapsulated in DAP plastic box enclosures.Installation is made across the plus and minus lines. The SPD is maintenance free, and may be repairable. The two connecting terminals are threaded studs, 3/8-16. Either terminal may be connected to the plus or minus bus. The end caps and all metallic hardware are stainless steel.
