A Circular Bag derives its name from the seamless tubular circular woven design of the bag body. There are usually 8 reinforced “tram” lines running the vertical height of the bag body. These reinforced vertical bands contain approximately 2 oz/yd² of additional yarns that are “crammed” into the weaving process (a 6.5 oz/yd bag body will have approx. 8.5 oz/yd² fabric in these areas). This process provides a threefold purpose – as a secure area for lift loop attachment, for reduction of the “rounding out” effect that is common in the center of the bag and for extra strength and support. A bottom is sewn onto the bag body (not required on a U-Panel).
High Capacity in Circular Bags is very difficult and may require special design or fabric such as double ply.
