U Panel – Bulk Bags

A U-Panel Bag derives its name from the construction of the bag body. The main panel is the height of one side + the bag width + the height of the other side. Attached to this “U” panel are 2 side panels. On a rectangular bag, the width of the main panel is always the smaller size. These panels may or may not be hemmed, depending on the weight. Hemmed panels produce more support allowing for less “rounding” of the bag since each vertical seam of the bag is comprised of two double layers of secured fabric sewn together.
