N-Propyl Acetate is a colorless liquid. It is used as a solvent for cellulose nitrate, cellulose acetate butyrate, acrylic/alkyd resins, polyester, lacquers, rosin, plasticizers, waxes, oils, fats, and insecticide formulations. It is utilized in polyamide and acrylic inks, in fragrances, and as a flavoring agent.
