Methyl Methacrylate

Methyl methacrylate is a colorless liquid. It is widely used in the manufacturing of polymethyl methacrylate (bone cement) which is used for the fixation of joint prostheses and in dentistry. It is used to prepare methacrylate resins and plastics for advertising signs and displays, glazing and skylights, building panels and sidings, and lighting fixtures. It is utilized in molding and extrusion powder, and coatings for lacquer, latex paints, and enamel resins.
