Polypropylene glycol is a colorless liquid. It is used as an antifoaming agent and as a humectant in cosmetics and foods. It is used as a solvent in flavoring/coloring or agents and pharmaceutical products. It is the main component in automobile antifreeze/engine-cooling liquids and brake/hydraulic fluids. It is used to prepare polyurethane elastomers. It is used as a soft segment to make self-healing polymeric networks.
