Sodium Tetraborate Anhydrous

Sodium tetraborate is a white color solid. It is an ingredient in detergents, bleaching agents, glass, optical glass, porcelain, pottery glazes, enamel glazes, rust inhibitor, and cosmetics. It is used to make buffer solutions, as a fire retardant, as an emulsifier of paraffin, as a flux in metallurgy, as a texturing agent in cooking, and as a raw material to prepare other boron compounds.
