Borax Decahydrate

Borax Decahydrate, also known as Sodium Tetraborate Decahydrate, is a white solid. Borax Decahydrate is widely used in pesticides, softening/buffering agents, coolants and antifreeze, starch adhesives, and metal soldering flux. Borax Decahydrate is also used as a component of enamel, glass, and pottery glazes, for the artificial aging of wood, for the tanning of skins and hides, and as a preservative for wood fungus. Borax Decahydrate is used as a natural preservative and emulsifier in pharmaceutical and cosmetics products.
