Sodium Hexametaphosphate (SHMP)

Sodium hexametaphosphate, the inorganic polyphosphate salt of sodium is a white solid. It is used as a tooth-whitening agent in dentifrice formulations, as a mud drilling additive in the oil industry, and as a deflocculant in kaolinite suspensions. It is used as an additive, nourishing/ metal ions chelating/ leavening/buffering agent, and quality improver in the food industry. It is also useful in water softeners, flotation agents, dispersers, and high-temperature adhesives. It is also utilized in paper production, construction materials textile, dyeing, and metallurgy, and also in water softeners, flotation agents, and high-temperature adhesives.
