Glycol Ether EM is a colorless liquid. It is used in lacquers, resins, varnishes, enamels, inks, dyes, wood stains, cosmetics, and soaps. It is used as an additive in airplane deicing solutions. It is used as a solvent in chemical synthesis and also in the synthesis of Vaska’s complex in organometallic synthesis.
