Tetraethylene Glycol (TEG)

Tetraethylene glycol is a colorless liquid. It is used to dissolve water-immiscible compounds. It is used as a solvent for nitrocellulose, plasticizers, coatings, adhesives, inks, lacquers, lubricants, metalworking fluids, textile finishes, and extractants. It is used as a humectant for natural gas, a natural gas desiccant, and a lubricant for textiles.
