Sodium Tripolyphosphate

Sodium tripolyphosphate is a white inorganic solid. It is widely used as a deflocculant, an emulsifier, and a dispersing agent. It is also employed as a preservative, sequestrant, and texture-modifier in foods, a sealant for pond leakage, a corrosion inhibitor, and a chelator for calcium/magnesium. It is also used to prepare chitosan nanoparticles.
