Triethylene Glycol (TEG)

Triethylene glycol is a colorless liquid. It is used as a plasticizer for vinyl polymers, as an additive for hydraulic/brake fluids, as a base for smoke machine liquid, as a humectant for printing inks/tobacco, as a fragrance in cosmetic products, and as a solvent for resins, dyeing textile and pesticides. It is used in air sanitizers, pigments, inks and pastes, lubricants, and greases. It is utilized as a liquid desiccant in air conditioning systems and for natural gas.
