Triethylamine

Triethylamine is a colorless to yellow liquid. It is used as a solvent and base in many organic reactions. It is used as an accelerator activator for rubber, as a curing/hardening agent for polymers, as water-resistant materials of quaternary ammonium composites, and for the desalination of seawater. It is used as a corrosion inhibitor, a propellant, a wetting agent, a food additive, and an acid neutralizer. It is also used in the textile and automotive casting industry. It is useful as an intermediate for manufacturing medicines, pesticides, and other chemicals.
