Ammonium Dimolybdate is a white or off-white crystalline solid that is soluble in water. Ammonium Dimolybdate serves as a catalyst in the manufacturing of fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals, as well as in oxidation, hydrogenation, and dehydrogenation reactions. Ammonium Dimolybdate is employed as a fertilizer or soil amendment to provide molybdenum to crops. Ammonium Dimolybdate also acts as a precursor to prepare molybdenum-based materials. Ammonium Dimolybdate is employed in metal finishing as a plating bath additive and is also utilized in thin film deposition and semiconductor manufacturing.
