Boric Oxide

Boric Oxide is a white color solid. Boric Oxide is used as a fluxing or cleaning agent for enamel and glass panes. Boric Oxide is used as an additive to make glass and optical fibers. Boric Oxide is utilized as an insecticide, solvent for metallic oxides at high temperatures, feedstock and catalyst to produce organic and boron-containing compounds. Boric Oxide is mixed with boron nitride to make a bonding agent for ceramics.
