Monopotassium Phosphate is a white solid. It is used as a fungicide and in a nutrient solution, special fertilizers, non-linear optical material for laser applications, and wastewater purification. It is employed as a buffering agent in pH calculations, paper processing, pharmaceuticals, urinary acidifiers, baking powder, and food products. It is used to prepare buffer solutions for affinity capillary electrophoresis (ACE), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and equilibrium dialysis. It is used as a phosphorylating agent in chemical synthesis and to produce collagen nanocomposites and prosthetics devices.
