Oleic Acid

Oleic acid a fatty acid is a colorless to pale yellow liquid. It is utilized as an emulsifying agent for cosmetics, as an accelerator for rubber products, as a food additive, as a solubilizing agent in aerosol compounds, as an intermediate for fracking and drilling liquids in oil and gas production, as a surfactant for magnetic nanoparticles stabilization and as a soldering flux for glasses. It is used to prepare soaps and detergents, waterproof fabrics, and turkey red oil. It is also employed in oiling wool, condensing lubricating oils, anionic/non-ionic surfactants, plasticizers, waxes, and ointments.
