Gluconic Acid

Gluconic acid is colorless to brown color liquid. It is used as an acid regulator, buffering agent, preservative (possesses antibacterial properties), and pigment stabilizer. It is used in metal surface cleaning formulations for mineral deposit removal, metal finishing and plating processing baths, and high-performance metal degreasers. It is utilized as a stabilizer for dye/bleach baths and in leather dyeing and tanning processes. It is used as a raw material in the production of gluconate salts.
