This silica sand is graded for use in water and waste-water filtration processes as well as other residential, municipal and industrial applications. The sand meets or exceeds standards of NSF/ANSI 61 & 372 and AWWA B100. It has a high silica content and low acid solubility to ensure a durable filter media performance.
