This is a non-treated high swelling sodium bentonite in granular form. It is specifically processed for soil/bentonite membranes installed where low permeability liners or caps are desired. Though appropriate in most soil types, the granular character of this material is particularly effective when blended with sandy clays and silty sands where the broad spectrum of particle sizes fills irregular void spaces inherent in these soils.
