Custom Precision Non Metallic Flat Washers

In addition to working with aluminum, brass, copper, bronze, and stainless steel, we offer a full range of non-metal washers at Wm H. Brewster Jr., Inc. We work with a wide range of non-metal materials, including Delrin, fiber, fish paper, natural HDPE, polyester, rulon, and PTFE. In addition, two very popular choices are Mylar and Nylatron, which offer many benefits. Mylar washers serve as excellent electrical insulators; they are dimensionally stable, and less expensive than Kapton. Nylatron washers feature extremely good anti-frictional properties and heat resistance to 400 ºF. While not recommended for electrical insulation, Nylatron is stronger than Nylon and has better dimensional stability. Non-metal washers are available in sizes that include outer diameters from 0.062 to 3″ and thicknesses from 0.001 to 0.070″. They fulfill many important functions, and are often used in gaskets, spacers, shims, sealing washers, and discs. We make sure that every non-metal washer fulfills every necessary industry and government standard, including ANSI, AS, FAA, DOD, CSA, ASTM, NADCAP, Mil-Spec, and many others. Our facility is fully ISO 9001:2008 certified. We work with all new certified material, and provide a number of advanced inspection methods to ensure our washers are of the highest quality.
