TRANS-SF 350, AMS Silicone Polymer Defoamer

Due to its high thermal stability, high chemical inertness, and very low toxicity profile, TRANS-SF 350 finds utility in a large range of applications. Typical applications include defoamers, release agents, lubricants and surface treatments.

For foam control, TRANS-SF 350 is generally used in non-aqueous systems, such as vegetable oil processing. The silicone fluid may be added in its neat form or may be premixed with a component of the foaming system. For some applications, it may be most effective to wipe the silicone fluid onto part of the processing equipment, such as the nozzle of a bottle-filling machine. When using as a lubricant or release agent, diluting the silicone fluid with a suitable solvent may be preferred.
