TRANS-FG2, AMS Silicone-Free Food Grade Defoamer

TRANS-FG2K is normally added directly to the foaming system, but it may be dispersed in water with agitation prior to application. Aqueous dispersions of TRANS-FG2K are not stable for long periods of time and should be used immediately. Do not add water directly to TRANS-FG2K and store the product in this manner: product stability may be compromised. Each foaming problem is unique and requires different treatment levels of TRANS-FG2K. Use only the minimum amount of defoamer required to control the foam. Trial testing will be necessary to optimize the amount of TRANS-FG2K used in a given process. As with any antifoam and defoamer, thorough testing should always be conducted to determine the suitability and compatibility of the antifoam with the foaming system.
