Using presses in the 1/2-ton to 50-ton range, we produce spur gears and helical gears up to 1.5″ in diameter with fine diametral pitches up to 120. We use powders in a variety of alloy compositions, including stainless steel, copper infiltrated steel, nickel steel, and many others, and we can blend custom powders to meet application-specific strength and wear properties. We manufacture gears with dimensionally accurate tool profiles and incorporate intricate and detailed features to accommodate the most challenging custom and special gear design requirements. By forming gears in precision dies and sintering them in atmospherically controlled furnaces, we attain an exceptional level of part-to-part quality and consistency.
