Master Bond® EP76MHT is a two component, nickel filled, electrically conductive epoxy system for high performance bonding, sealing and coating. EP76MHT is easy to use has a thixotropic viscosity with Part A being greater than 700,000 cps and Part B exceeding 1,000,000 cps. It has a paste like consistency and the mix ratio is a forgiving one to one by weight or volume. It has an exceptionally long working life as well. It will cure readily at ambient temperatures in 3-5 days or at 200ºF in 2-3 hours. The optimum cure schedule is overnight at ambient temperature followed by 3-4 hours at 150ºF.

EP76MHT is particularly noteworthy for its strength profile. Typically, there is a noticeable diminution of bond strength when epoxies are formulated to be electrically conductive. However EP76MHT, when fully cured, has a lap shear strength of over 2,000 psi. It bonds well to a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, glass, ceramics, composites, vulcanized rubbers and many plastics. Furthermore, EP76MHT has high compressive strength, superb dimensional stability and has low shrinkage upon cure. Some other desirable attributes are good chemical resistance including to water, oils and cleaning agents. The service temperature range is -60ºF to +400ºF. Parts A and B are both gray in color. Master Bond® EP76MHT is particularly useful in aerospace, electronic, electrical and other industries where nickel conductivity is desirable from a functional and cost perspective. It is especially useful in applications requiring shielding and static dissipation.
