Dioctyl Sebacate (DOS)

Dioctyl Sebacate is a colorless to pale yellow liquid. It is used as a low-temperature plasticizer for PVC, nitrocelluloses, styrene resins, and synthetic rubbers. It is also used as a synthetic lubricant for steam injection engines. It is utilized as outdoor cable, PVC linoleum, anti-frosting cable, artificial leather, resins, and synthetic rubbers. It is used in the personal care industry as deodorants and antiperspirants, skin conditioners, makeup, sunscreens, and lotions.
