Dioctyl Phthalate (DOP)

Dioctyl Phthalate (DOP) is a colorless liquid. It is mainly used as a plasticizer to provide flexibility and softness in PVC coverings, wall coverings, artificial leather, medical devices, toys, automobiles, packaging film, and sheathing for wire and cable. It is also used as an organic solvent, condensation agent, reducing agent, and gas chromatography fixed liquid. It is utilized as a dielectric fluid in capacitors and as a hydraulic fluid.
