Leveler Back-Up Roll & Thrust Blocks

Designed for high load bearing capacity, at Bearing Service Company of Pennsylvania we manufacture leveler back-up roll & thrust assemblies that provide extended service life in a variety of industrial applications. Supported by bearings along the entire length, the bodies feature a crowned outer diameter to reduce edge loading and premature fatigue. We precision-grind the back-up roll unit to facilitate uniform load distribution across the entire length during operation, and they come pre-lubricated for a long operating life. Each unit is also equipped with a 2-piece, non-contact PTFE seal on each end that features a zero-leakage design to prevent the incursion of oil, water, dust and chemicals.

Available in bearing quality alloy steel as well as stainless steel for added corrosion resistance and prevention of material adhesion to the rolls and shafts, we manufacture these products in low and high volumes according to ABEC and RBEC tolerance standards. To facilitate maintenance, the back-up roll unit can be disassembled and re-ground at low cost to remove fatigue marks.
