R Series 1.3750 Inch (in) Bore Diameter (d) and 2.5000 Inch (in) Outer Diameter (D) Shielded Ball Bearing

The R-Series ball bearings, named for their numerical model numbers, are also known as our Precision Inch Series ball bearings. More specifically R-Series bearings are radial ball bearings with inch dimensions available from?” through 1-1/2 inch bore sizes.

The design uses Conrad construction which is a type of non-separable deep-groove ball bearing, with symmetrical inner and outer raceways. Most notably, this construction allows an axial thrust load in addition to radial loads. The R-Series is available in standard and flanged configurations and is also available in open, shielded and sealed arrangements. Seals are readily available in PTFE and Buna-N-Rubber (contact and light contact) in most sizes. With the design of the ball complement and availability of a wide variety of retainers makes the R-Series a favorite in the design of high-speed motor applications among others.
