Cyclohexylamine is a colorless liquid. Cyclohexylamine is used as a precursor to prepare corrosion inhibitors, desulfurizers, antistatic agents, vulcanization accelerators, food additive sweeteners, emulsifiers, latex coagulants, petroleum product additives, fungicides, and insecticides. Cyclohexylamine is used as a solvent in the synthesis of an inorganic-organic hybrid semiconductor, and nanocomposites.
