Ammonium Bifluoride

Ammonium Bifluoride is a colorless solid. Ammonium Bifluoride is an intermediate to produce hydrofluoric acid which is used in a number of industrial and commercial applications including cleaning and etching of metals/glass, and in the cleaning of bricks and ceramics. Ammonium Bifluoride is also used for aluminium anodization, cleaning of industrial plants, building protection, mineral oil/ natural gas drilling, and in the electronic industry. Ammonium Bifluoride is also used for pH adjustment in industrial textile processing.
